Our Process

From first conversation to first swim — every step, explained.

10 Steps to Your Pool

Our proven process keeps your project on track and transparent at every stage.

Step 1: Initial Consultation

It starts with a conversation. Whether over Google Meet or in person, our project manager learns what you’re envisioning. Before we meet, we’ve already pulled aerial photos, checked county records, and started a framework in Pool Studio.

Step 2: Design Presentation & Contract

We present a complete design package: 3D renderings from multiple angles, detailed pricing, and individually priced options so you can pick and choose within your budget.

Step 3: Permitting & Engineering

With a signed contract, we submit for permits and secure structural engineering. We check geological surveys for soil type — critical in the Valley where expansive soils require reinforcement.

Step 4: Site Preparation & Excavation

Your project manager personally lays out the pool on-site for approval and calls utility clearances. After excavation, we verify height and dimensions against structural requirements.

Step 5: Plumbing & Compaction

Rough plumbing by our in-house crew. After plumbing, we run a plate compactor over the pool floor — most contractors skip this step.

Step 6: Structural Steel & Electrical

Rebar is installed and precisely placed, followed by rough electrical including the bonding grid and conduit. Then we schedule the pre-gunite inspection.

Step 7: Shotcrete Application & Curing

After passing inspection, shotcrete forms the pool shell. We set up a sprinkler and timer to keep the surface wet during curing — preventing shrinkage cracks.

Step 8: Tile, Masonry & Decking

The finishing sequence depends on your decking choice. We install waterline tile, masonry features, water features, and your chosen deck material.

Step 9: Equipment, Barriers & Final Inspection

Final electrical, equipment installation (pump, filter, heater, automation), and all required safety barriers are completed before final inspection.

Step 10: Interior Finish, Fill & Startup

Interior finish applied and acid-washed, pool fills, equipment starts up, automation programmed, water balanced. Then it’s time for your first swim.

Pricing Transparency

Every pool is custom, so exact pricing depends on design, site conditions, and finish selections. However, we believe in transparency.

What affects your price?

  • Site access — equipment reach, rear-yard access, and proximity to structures
  • Soil conditions — expansive soils or rock excavation increase structural requirements
  • Pool size & complexity — shape, depth, elevation changes, and water features
  • Finish selections — interior finish, tile, decking material, and equipment tier

Detailed pricing tiers are coming soon. In the meantime, reach out for a personalized estimate — there’s no obligation.
